With Billsby, you can design your own custom checkout and payment card update experiences for customers without using the Billsby Checkout. Using our card tokenizer, you can capture payment cards, tokenize them and then use our API to perform actions on customers' accounts.
Using the tokenizer, card tokens will still be stored directly in the Billsby Vault, meaning you'll never store, process or hold the payment card number on your end. This means that you'll maintain the lowest possible level of complexity for PCI compliance, which is important - nobody likes an audit.
You can use the BIllsby API to manage almost every aspect of your customers' accounts with your own custom user experience, but you'll need to use our card tokenizer to securely store your cards in the Billsby Vault before you can refer to them in API calls.
If you'd like to use our tokenizer, we have handy steps on how to code it in over in your Billsby account. Simply head over to your Settings page, click Embed codes, and then at the top click Tokenizer. We have all the instructions and code snippets for you there.
Maintain PCI-DSS compliance
Whilst our card tokenizer fields look like any other form field on your website, you won't touch, process or store cardholder data.
Create your own custom experience
Using our API, you can create completely custom checkout and on-boarding experiences that look and feel exactly how you'd like
Switch at any time
Start with Billsby Checkout whilst you get up and running, then swap to the card tokenizer at any time. You're in control.
