Understanding the difference between our options for migrations to Billsby.

There are two ways that you can migrate your customers over to Billsby: manual or managed. Which one we choose will depend on two things:

  1. How many customers you're migrating.

  2. How quickly you need to migrate your customers over.

As you'd expect, a manual migration can be time consuming, so if you're migrating more than 100 customers, we would recommend a managed migration.

Please note a managed migration can only take place if your previous billing system/payment gateway is supported by Spreedly. You can find this out here.

A managed migration will also require some time, as we're relying on a third parties provide us with the data we need, so if you need your customers moved over quickly, you're probably better off going with a manual migration.
